The Ben F. Jones Chapter takes great pride in its
continuing partnership with Memphis Area Legal
Services. We always encourage all our members
- and the legal community at large - to take advantage
of the many pro
bono opportunities available through MALS
programming.
Attorney of the Day is a program
through which MALS provides two local private attorneys
who volunteer their time on Thursday afternoons at 1:00
p.m. to advise pro se litigants about procedures,
defenses, and possible referrals. The program is run
with the generous cooperation of the Memphis Bar
Association’s Access to Justice Committee, The Ben F.
Jones Chapter of the NBA, and General Sessions Judge
Phyllis Gardner.
